Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is the practice of introducing substances directly into the dermal layer of the skin by multiple micro-injections.  This technique has been used in Europe for many years for the treatment of sports injuries, trauma and arthritis and pain management.   It has found renewed interest in aesthetic medicine due to the development of skin ageing treatments where a direct insertion of revitalizing and regenerative substances can be performed.

Mesotherapy is used to treat those parts of the body most exposed to our aggressive climatic conditions – the face, neck, décolleté and hands and is used for female hair loss.

Skin Rejuvination
(Face, décolleté, hands)

Facial mesotherapy is a procedure whereby nutrients are introduced into the dermal layer of the skin by the way of micro-injections using a short mesotherapy needle and is essentially painless .  The cocktail of ingredients delivers vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids into the skin to nourish and rejuvenate, stimulate the circulation and cellular metabolism.   Renewed levels of moisture, collagen and elastin give the skin a tighter and more youthful appearance.

It is an excellent therapy for the following:

Before

After

Mesotherapy can be used to complement other skin treatments, such as Intense Pulsed Light, peels, microdermabrasion or a facial to give and added boost to the skin.   Results are almost immediate depending on skin condition and regime followed.  It is one of the most effective treatments for the aged, crepey décolleté (chest) and a wonderful treatment for hand rejuvenation.

Treatments are usually scheduled 1 every 14 days for 2 months – to saturate the skin, followed by 1 session every month for 3 months.
